Just back from a great day at Donna Nook with my very good buddy FraughtUK. Stayed in a fantastic B&B and then awoke this morning to a lovely sunrise. The weather held out until lunchtime so we had a good few hours on the beach with the seals. I'll post a shot now just to whet your appetites! Enjoy!

Hi everyone, I've had a few weeks away from DA, been busy with all kinds of things but you'll be pleased to hear I've found a couple of opportunities to get out with the camera!

First things first! I'm not leaving! I was pretty annoyed last night but I've calmed down. I enjoy it too much sharing photos and art with my friends here so I'm staying put!

I do still feel I need to do something so I've put a simple line of text over the images, it still looks bad IMHO but hopefully is not too intrusive as I've made it quite faint. I've added it to the 5 most popular images in my gallery for starters. I'd welcome feedback before I add it to every image in my gallery which is going to take me ages!!!

I know I've put the watermark fairly central in the images but I feel if I put it along the edge it can be cropped off in seconds which defeats the object of it. I know it can still be removed by cloning but hopefully most people will not want to bother.

Why do some people feel the need to steal other peoples work? It was brought to my attention that my Leaping Orca shot was being used elsewhere which then got me thinking so I did a few searches and it didn't take long to find some of my other work has been copied without my permission also!! Arrgh! So angry now!

Sometimes people ask if they can use my work and I almost always say Yes, I feel honoured to be asked but when people take my images without asking it makes me feel I must start watermarking them. I'm normally very laid back and hardly ever get angry but I feel really ****'d off right now.

I hate the watermarks, to be honest I would rather not post anything than post shots only to ruin them with an ugly watermark. I don't know what to do, at the moment I feel like taking all my images down and leaving DA.
