I'm just having a browse through some of my photos tonight and I came across this one which I haven't looked at for a while but which I've always particularly liked.
I've always loved the monochromatic nature of the image with everything rendered in shades of blue and the way it fades away into the distance. I also find the juxtaposition between the ugly modern shipping vessel and the timeless beauty of the wild orca quite thought provoking.
Love your photos so much, they look so professional. I like how clear and sharp the orcas are, despite the fact that they're at a distance. Brilliant,

I like this for all the reasons you mentioned. Plus I like the background hazy like this, kind of separates the ship from the whales as it looks clearer where the whales are. Would love to be able to go somewhere where you can see whales like this.
another wonderful picture beautifully described. the colours are lovely and seeing orcas this close to human activities is thought provoking into how much our species invades nearly every area and aspect of the planet!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
